Urology
We offer a full range of planned (elective) and emergency urology services.
We diagnose and treat conditions including:
- bladder, prostate, and kidney cancer
- urinary incontinence
- kidney stones
- lower urinary tract symptoms including blood in urine
- recurrent urinary tract infections
- testes, scrotum and penis disorders.
We offer minimally invasive (keyhole) surgery including:
- partial and full kidney removal (nephrectomy)
- removal of kidney blockage (pyeloplasty)
- removal of stones (pyelolithotomy and ureterolithotomy)
- lymph node biopsies
- renal cyst ablation, which uses heat to kill cells
- removal of adrenal glands (adrenalectomy).
Inpatient and day surgery takes place at Princess Royal University Hospital. Outpatient clinics are at Beckenham Beacon.
