We provide practical and emotional support to families and those close to patients who have died in our hospitals.
To help reduce the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) we have made some changes to our services.
We offer face to face appointments for relatives, however only one relative may attend, due to the need to maintain social distancing. Due to the current situation around COVID-19 (coronavirus), we accept that you may not wish to or may be unable to attend the hospital at this time. If this is the case we will provide support via telephone or email.
We are now able to support you with viewing your loved one if you would like to do so. Please contact us and we will arrange this for you if required. Alternatively please ask your funeral director, who may offer the immediate family viewings before the funeral.
We appreciate the anxiety and concern you are experiencing and will do our best to help you through this difficult time.
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, memorial services at the Trust will be live streamed this year. Please check our Memorial Services page for the most up-to-date information.
Please contact us if you would like our advice or support following the death of your loved one. We can talk you through the procedures following a death and the help and support available to you.
