Referral criteria
We see patients:
- with an orthodontic malocclusion that is graded 4 or 5 according to the Index of Orthodontic treatment need
- who require multidisciplinary care with restorative dentistry, maxillofacial surgery or treatment by a specialist in Community Dentistry.
Special consideration will be given to medically compromised patients. We accept referrals from dentists and doctors. Patients must have healthy teeth, good oral hygiene and be registered with a dentist who they see for routine care before they start treatment.
