Use NHS e-Referrals (e-RS) to make new referrals to consultant-led clinics. This includes urgent suspected cancer referrals. If there is no capacity available on e-RS, use the ‘Defer to Provider’ option.

Referrals made in other ways that should have been made on e-RS will be returned, with a request to make the referral on e-RS.
