Practical and emotional support
We understand this may be a difficult time and you might feel nervous about coming into a hospital. Our staff are here to give you the treatment you need safely, and we offer extra support if you need it.
If you have a question about your treatment, contact the department you have been referred to. Use the details on your appointment letter or find the department on our Service pages.
Our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) offers support, information and assistance to patients, relatives and visitors.
Our Chaplaincy team supports people of all faiths and beliefs, as well as people who do not have a particular religious belief but would like someone to talk to.
Sadly, not every patient we see will recover. If you need them, our Bereavement Support team can offer practical and emotional support to families and those close to patients who have died in our hospitals.
The NHS has also created the Your covid recovery website for people who are recovering from coronavirus.
